Info about the Clwyds

The Clwydian Range is a 35 km long chain of undulating hills. It separates the Vale of Clwyd in the west and the Dee Estuary in the east. It runs from Prestatyn to Llandegla, with Moel Famau at 554 metres its highest point. The Clwydian Range is a prominent silhouette from Merseyside and Cheshire and is an impressive contrast from the surrounding farmland. The historic market towns of Mold, Ruthin and Denbigh mark the main entrances to the Range.
